Hola!
El primer dia de la setmana és diumenge, encara que la gent el considera l'últim.
Cap pot significar darrer, part superior d'alguna cosa, a la fi de: cap de setmana, cap de mes, cap d'una muntanya, cap d'una persona, al cap d'un any.
Cap d'any sembla ser el primer dia de l'any. Cap de setmana, els darrers dies de la setmana.
Abans diumenge era el dia de descans, i és el primer dia de la setmana. Dissabte la gent treballava.
