UNIDAD 5 - Lista de verbos irregulares ingleses

En las unidades siguientes, nos encargaremos de las formas verbales y de sus usos. La lista que encontrará más abajo le será de especial utilidad para la formación de algunos tiempos verbales. Se la incluimos ahora porque es necesario que la aprenda o, en su defecto, la tenga siempre a mano.

 

Antes de empezar a estudiarla, debe tener en cuenta:

(1) que en las traducciones se ha puesto sólo un significado, pero que puede haber muchos más;

(2) que hang es regular (pasado simple y participio de pasado: hanged) cuando significa "ahorcar";

(3) que algunos verbos tienen formas regulares e irregulares: burn (burnt o burned), dream (dreamt o dreamed), learn (learnt o learned)...;

(4) y que lie es regular (lied) con el significado de "mentir".
